The most important thing for us while in the world is to safeguard our interest and these are the higher values of life. If one loses the higher values of life and goes back without attaining it, he is bewildered in the three worlds, no way out. At once one loses the chance of this manbody, may or may not be given it again. So we have to make the best use of the present time.

Even to think of the past is negative. You know, lot of people are there, lot of masters are there who are telling you about the past. What does it cost/ benefit you, nothing. They may be telling lies, but that does not interest you.

 

So there are many, many ways, man is misled in the world and he does not find the way. Even he is so much occupied in the world with otherpursuits of life, most of them are useless. They are not worthy of thinking even, they should not be brought even to our thoughts. You know what we have to do.

There was a one king, ... , he renounced the world for self-realization.

Before he left for the forest, his mother told him: "My dear son, live in a very strong fort" and he said: "Mother, there will be no fort, I have to live under the shadows of the tree or I have to create a hut there out of straw." She said: "My dear child, you keep the commandments of the master with you. To live within the commandments of the master is to live within the fort." So we can develop this manbody as a fort, because we can become, we can aquire all those virtues which our master got and those are also written in the holy scriptures. These are the higher values and the hidden values of life and both work as a fort, because when we leave the body we are not touched by any force in the three worlds because our way is direct and independent with god. So we have to develop in all aspects of life, physically, intellectually and we have done lot, but our one part of consciousness is leaking.

So she further told: "Son, you should take very delicious food there." "Mother I have to cook the food myself. That will only be coarse grain, how can I take the delicious food there?" She said: "Son when you are really hungry, only then take the food. It will give you atomic energy."

Then she told that: "Son you should sleep on very soft beds". He said: "Mother there are no soft beds, some time I have to sleep on thorny bushes also. I don't know where I would be." She said: "No, only sleep, when really the sleep overpowers your senses, not beforehand. Beforehand, tacle your mind and senses and overcome your problems, so that you are not misguided in the sleep. Have a conscious sleep."

And what is a conscious sleep? Conscious sleep is considered to be half sleep. You are sleeping, but you are still conscioius. It is half sleep. It is said that the half sleep is very energetic. It gives more strength to the body and one can prolong his life. In sound ... sleep our, we are affected with the mind on the level of subconsciousness. So, we lose lot of things with the company of the mind.

When we are sleep, mind is active, mind does not take rest, mind is restless. So during sleep mind creates lot of tricks. Mind creates food for the day and overpowers the senses. So that is what he meant for this right way of life.

So Master tell us, our purpose in the world is only, to live in this manbody, but we must know what we are who we are, from where we came, how we came and now what is the purpose of human life. Although it is all our consideration, but we have forgotten. So we have to remember all these considerations.

So the experience of our Master which is in the holy scriptures, that should become our experience. So for that purpose most of us they have got this gift of life and those who have not got it, if they accept it and then determine to live with it, at once they will have the radiation of the Master, they are not less than initiates.

The power that is with you, that has not to come from outside, it is your free will, which has to work upon you, because man is gifted with the free will.

So, everyone has to create an aim in his life. Rather aim with determination.

Without creating an aim, one is useless instrument into the world. And such persons, they are bewildered later on. And they are asked nowhere. Aimless person is a useless person, not over here but hereafter also. Some people they waste their life and energy only for little reasons. They waste their time. I tell you, that the time which does not credit you, it definitely discredits you. There are two things, one is a credit and one is a discredit. If that thing does not credit you, then it will discredit you, because there are two forces working all the time around you, negative and positive power. If you wish to be positive and you don't, then you are in the severe grip of the negative power.

So everything has its reaction. You want to do something, you want to become some thing, you don't do it, the effect will be negative. Once we determine something, we should do it. Otherwise this will disinterest us and we lose the opportunity.

If we go through the Holy Scriptures and read the very secrets of the life of the competent Masters, we can know the very hidden values of life. There are the higher values of life and if you live with it there are the hidden values of life. But before we do not determine our aim, even we cannot live with the higher values of life. And what to say about the hidden values of life. Without knowing the hidden values of life you cannot transcend the tentacles of the mind and matter that are there.

All these negative facts: Ignorance, misleading, disrespecting other people and greed, avarice, attachment, lust, ego, these are not only the words, these are very big barriers, this is created. The effect of these things is very wide and vast. It transcends within us into our astral and causal body. When we leave it, we have to overcome it, no exception to the rule. Roots are there, we have to cut the roots of those things. And we are doing it haphazardly. There are also the barriers, there is a barrier of truthfulness, there is a barrier of chastity, there is also barrier of, I mean to say true living compassion, contentment, there are nearly ten virtues, if we live with those virtues, then we can have more virtues, we can multiply those virtues. If we transcend those barriers and go to the other side, then we start to lose those virtues. They start to diminish in us and what will happen? A time comes, when we finish all those virtues. We'll remain empty-handed.

So as you know this man-body and this world is only a playfield of negative and positive power, both, impelling forces, they have their destination fully fixed and they are doing their utmost.

So for that reason, we have to be very particular and positive in our sayings and doings. We have not to leave it at all. If we say something, we should do it. When we do it, the result should be positive and potent, otherwise it will disinterest you. So we speak those things out of no reason, but we do not know, we do not care for the result, results are there, consequences are there. There can be such dire consequences in the life of persons that he, he has to wander into the wilderness.

So these things, it is from our life, from the life of every person, this is not hidden from everybody, because of ignorance we do not know, we have not ... the subject, once we know we have to live with that, otherwise we will be the sinners. Without the sin we could never come back into the man-body, I tell you and masters come for sinners.

So we may remain in the world, but we should not create sin on the level of our consciousness, on the level of our mind. Even in dreams we should not create a sin. But it is only possible when we start with the aim and determination in our life. Then we have something with us.

So first we should thank God, who has given us the man-body. It is a rare phenomenon in the whole creation that a ... comes to the man-body - Master tell us we should sacrifice, we should 100.000 times sacrifice unto God for giving this opportunity to realize ourselves and to realize God.

Second thing is that he has provided us good atmosphere. It is a good thing, he has given us everything. See the condition, people were not afforded to have a good water, they took the dirty water, their condition, lot of people died. We should thank the Godpower that He has blessed us with all humanities at our disposal, good living, everything at our disposal. Then, but we cannot thank Him.

First we should know (why this body was given). So far we do not know, on what ground this (body) was given, why this was given to us, if we don't know it, we cannot thank God.

So, now the first preference that goes to us. We should live according to the teaching, according to the holy scriptures. Otherwise, all other things are meaningless. A time will come when we will be forced to detach. We don't want to detach, but we will be forced to detach. No exception to the rule.

Kabir went to the palace of king Bekhel Singh and he created new palace , renovated this palace. It was from his ancestors and Kabir went there and Raja Bekhel Singh told: "Oh, holy saint you tell something because we are inaugurating, today it is our inauguration day. You tell something." Kabir said only two words, he said: "You will not live in this palace. And this palace will smash down." He said: " You are a master, you should have told good things." He said: " I have told you the only good thing. You have to remember it", and he became the staunch follower of the faith.

All that we create is good for us, is good for use, but on certain level, not on all levels. So Masters tell us detachment is a big thing. You have everything and if you are able to be above everything, you are a good person, you are the right person in the world.

There was a one who makes these stone-images, he used to work stonegarving a very good artist, he lived in Rajastan. He made the imitation of some godesses. And lot of people gathered there for the inauguration. When it was placed in the temple, everybody bowed down, but he didn't bow down. He said: "Why you didn't bow, you did a lot of work over it?" He said: "No, I cannot bow it." He said: "I have made it, god has not made it, I myself made it, what a foolishness. If I have created a thing, I remain attached to it, it is a foolishness, how can I do that?" So some awareness is there in man. If he really uses it, it is in his interest. And what is now in the interest that will remain in interest, it will not leave us, whether in good way or in bad way.

So all masters they lived 100% for others. Their purpose to come into the world only was that much because they had no reaction of the past. They were sent into the world to perform this duty and we are the same essence as that of them. They come for us. They taught the lesson which they learned in their life. So we have to become like them, no exception to the rule.

If you live for others, you live for God. If you respect others, if you give due consideration for others, you respect God in you. If you love others, you love God in you.

So every action has its reaction and these are the positive reactions. Positive reaction means, those reactions which will not bind you back into the manbody. And that is only, the selfless service. To live for others is a selfless service. All those positive acts are considered to be a selfless should not service. So in this way, we can live with the teaching, every moment.

Master say: "You forget for a moment." You know, if you miss the plane for a moment, you are at a distance of 100.000 km. So this is to miss the life, to miss the purpose means, you are missing your lifeimpuls because a time will come, when we will miss everything in the world. A time will come in the world, when none of us will be here in the world, everyone has to go and what will we have at our disposal? Nothing. Then we have to miss everything in the world, we will forcibly detached with it. So master stresses upon it. The detachment is a rule. Or there is no exception to the rule. There is nothing beyond that. So if we do it right now, on the level of consciousness, the result is in our favour. If we are detached on the level of mind, senses, and where our attention, there we must come back. So Master prefer us to detach on the level of consciousness, on the level of our soul.

Soul is the driving force in the manbody. So once we determine our life on the level of soul it is permanent. It will last with us. It will give us eternal life. Master tell us: "Those who are proud of their riches, they become the snake, it is from the teaching. Those who are proud of their beauty, they become the insect of the odour. Those who are affected with the lust, they become the prostitutes, it is from the holy scripture I tell you. It is the experience of those masters who lived with it. So every action has its reaction, because master teaching is just like an anatomy subject, which is practically done not only theoretically, practically done.

So his purpose is to help determine the life of everybody. They come only for that purpose. And from heart he loves everybody. This is one thing in him, because there he developes him in his own image, in his own picture.

It is a story, Majnu was a lover of Laila. He was very fond of his beloved. So Laila used to give alms in form of money or something in many kinds to the beggars. So he also took one cup and he also went along with the beggars there, only to have the glimpses of her, of his beloved. Laila gave something to everybody, but when the turn of Majnu came she didn't put anything into the cup, but she stuck it from below and the cup fell down and it was broken. Majnu started to dance there. "Oh, foolish man, what you have got from her, she has not given anything to you?" He said: "She has given me that thing which you have not got so far. It is for my whole life it is for even after my death." What he learned? Detach! When you leave this body, when the picture will break you will have everything from her. A real, it is a real love. Detachment is a real love, I tell you.

If really you know how to detach in the world of attachment you are a, you are human being. So master tell us, all master tell us to remain detached from the world of attachment. So that you can be so that everyone is benefitted out of your visions. We have to create a vivid vision. We have to create a broadhearted, we have to be broadhearted. And God gives to whom? Who is broadhearted. He gives for what purpose? He gives for distribution. The gift of God is that more you spend, more it grows.

Is there any end to the love? More you use it, more it flourishes. So now our mind is identified in the world. And we are now in the narrow confinements of the world. And the consequences are there. These are the serious consequences. To live with the mind means, you have to bear the ... consequences.

If you are identified on the level of consciousness, on the level of soul, you become broadhearted. You have a place for everybody. You will not discriminate in this matter. On lower level there is much discrimination but on the level of a master, competent master there is no discrimination. He loves all. He meets millions of sinners, but he does'nt become a sinner. He helps everybody. You know, master come in the world. The thing it is for those persons whose eyes is not opened it is dormant for them. But whose eye is opened, they see everything in Him, because he has given the promises to the negative power.

Before the master entered the world, he has given the promises. There are three promises, he has given to the negative power. "That you will not show any miracle." Miracle is an act of the negative power. All these miracles which are playing in the world, being played in the world that concerns only to the negative power to the gods, godesses, avataras, and all other forces, and master has nothing to do with it, because it creates problems in the world, it create diseases of the mind. The second thing is, you can give the right understanding and take the soul, not forcible, because everyone is here, with the free will.

So as you know already, we come in the world with three distinct qualities from whole the creation, consciousness, discrimination power and free will. So on that level, master can take the soul, otherwise not. So, he awakens on these three patterns and opposite to that master is bound in three other ways with the negative power he cannot show that things. He can create the consciousness that is within us, he can create the discrimination power that is within us, to know what is what and he can utilize our free will. We cannot use the free will.

There is a will of God and there is a free will of the man. Both exist together. But nobody knows the will of God. So we can attune our will to the will of God, only by following the footsteps of our competent master, otherwise not, how easy it is. There are the footsteps, it was a time, when there were no footsteps and now we are fortunate, that in the present world we have lot of holy scriptures and which are written with one opinion and we can make the best use of those things. And these are the very fine footsteps. And there are the timeless footsteps, time does not concern with it. They always remain fresh and evergreen with us.

So when we enter that, into the sanctuary of our heart, it is everything there. So man can change his destiny on three grounds. So, we have to make the best use of this imposition, I tell you, these are the impositions from the negative power. And masterpower is bound with it. And master has against it, master has the three qualities that is already in man. So, by using all these things one can be perfect as his master.

So, these forces the negative and positive power, they control the man and man does not know he is controlled. Because our actions are accounted on the rays of our thoughts. The rays of our thoughts, these are accounted. And man's destiny is also made on these things. Because the thoughts are very potent, it gives birth to all the creation. We are in this world due to our own problems, we created in the world. Now we cannot finish with it and we cannot go. This is one problem with us. So we should disconnect ourselves from our thoughts.

You know, it is a outward things: Snake is sitting in the hole, nobody knows but this, those who are the snake charmers, they know it. When they reach to the hole, where the snake is sitting, they can feel this atmosphere there. Oh, snake is sitting there. And they will play on the flute and snake will come out of it. So master also takes us from the rays of our thoughts, how the rays react in the heart of other people. And these rays of our thoughts they have very wide spectrum, very wide goes outside. You think something here, it will transmit to the other corner of the world, it is like this. So, these things are a part of our true aspect of life, we must know.

Masters say,even you should not think bad of anybody even with your thoughts, otherwise it will catch you there. You will be affected. So, I'm telling you very little things, but they are meaningful. This is very minute subject, which we have taken up today, but it carries weight.

So now what is our purpose of human life? We should think, that we have to go. We have not to live in this world. Otherwise you have to suffer, the agony of death, again and again, death and birth, which is very dreadful! Everybody wants eternal life. Everybody wants peace of mind, everybody wants salvation. So for that purpose, we should surrender to whom? To our beloved, that is within us. We should get the answer from within ourselves first and then outside.

Mind will say something but the soul will contradict it. When the soul says something then the mind contradicts it and who has to decide it? Our intellect is there, it is a balance. Intellect is said to be a balance. Which can, if you bring it to the mind, it will create problems for you. If you bring it more to the consciousness, it will give you a clear cut view in your life. You can discriminate everything in its original condition.

And those who always remain conscious, their wisdom become holy, holy wisdom. So the man who is blessed with holy wisdom, he will not stay in this world, he will go back. What he has to do there? Because he is useless instrument for mind and for negative power and all other things. Why he will come back? Even the negative power will not accept that person. These are very hard facts of life. And we have to go through it.

So, what should we do? We should detach from the world. We should detach from our mind. We should try to detach from our senses. We should take, we should only take the work in accordance with the necessity. When there is a necessity, you use the senses, when there is no necessity don't use it.

So master tell us, what is your's in the world? It is nothing. All that we leave in the world that brings reaction. All that we do for God it is our heritage. Kabir has told that: "Oh man you are ignorant. You can convert everything into consciousness. Your whole labour will be studded into the throne, where the masterpower sits there, where the Lord himself sits there.

So whatever we do for God, what we do for others, that is our heritage. That we can bring with us. Whatever we leave that brings reaction. You leave something and it is misused later on. The reaction you have to bear because it is born out of you, that has come out of you, the hard labour is there. You have worked on it and you have to make the best use of it. Otherwise you have to suffer. Master tell us, the agony of such things prolongs to so much so that you will forget to detach from the world. You will be under the heavy weight of your own doing.

We owe lot of things in this world. And we have to undertake a very good bargain just to pay off the depts, whereas master tell, this manbody is a capital given to us. Everything is linked with it.

If you awake right from the bodyconsciousness, you are a superman! You are a man of great heart, you are a man of open heart! The god starts to live, to dwell in you. You can know, you can feel his radiation all the moment, if really you live with it.

So, whose eye is not opened, they say, this world is everything for them. They can enjoy the world, enjoy this manbody, but they are ignorant about the true facts. They must know that it is good it is very nice to enjoy this world and enjoy this body, but it will be very difficult to leave this world and leave the body. We have to learn it beforehand.

So, some people say, those whose eye is opened they said: "False is the king, false is his kingdom, all, everything in the world is false, false has made friendship with the falsehood and both are drowned.

Everything in the world is false, but we have not to be pessimist and not to be optimist of the world. In both way we have to be above that. Because in both the way, we are drowned, if we are pessimist about the world, we cannot solve the riddle of life, we have to use those things for the right purpose, not for the wrong purpose. We have to make the use out of the dust and use it for godpurpose. If we are optimist so both the way I told you, it is better not to be pessimist and not to be optimist about the world. We have to rise above both and we should only take our work, our attention above that, because what is use to be pessimist and optimist about this world, when we have to leave it?

So, master says: "You must remain above the effects of the world. You are in the world, yet you are out of the world. Your boat is in the water, but water must not enter into the boat. So masters tell us the very art of life which we have to get it. We have to adopt that way, no exception to the rule. Footsteps are there, we should follow it. Not only one master, hundreds of masters, opinion is there, a common opinion, these are the footsteps. All masters went through the footsteps they have gone very deep, very brilliant. Now there is no problem to go blindly on it, because all steps you take, you start one step and your other steps will go on automatically.

This is why it is said in the holy scriptures: "You take one step, masterpower comes with millions of steps forward." Because the work of the disciple is more easy, but more difficult is the work of the master. He has to guide, he has to bring us from the mud, this world is a mud, where we are fast stuck and we do not know how get rid of it. So the mainwork, that is with the father. Child is ignorant but he must know about the competency of his father. The child is in the lap of the mother, master say, if even a lion comes there, child is not afraid of the lions, mother may be afraid of the lions. He is very happy, because he knows that my mother is greater than everything, because of the love of the mother. He is fully attached with it. So, that should be our condition.

So Kabir says that: "Fish lives in the ocean, but it says that he is thirsty. What a laugh upon the fish. He lives in the ocean, but still are thirsty. The fish must know, that the ocean lives in fish. The ocean lives in fish. Our life, our god, our essence of life, the purpose of human life is living with us, the god lives in us, the ocean lives in the fish, if really we know it, we can never be thirsty. We feel thirsty of the world and worldly attachment, because we only know that the fish lives in the ocean. But we are ignorant that the ocean lives in fish. So, when we know that our father lives with us, we will not create problems for him. Kabir further says that the fish has abandoned the ocean and started to live on the trees, whereas the ocean is burning. So, what does this mean? That the fish is the life, our soul has abandoned and has started to live outside, and is directly under the attachment. It is identified into the world. And the ocean is burning: The masterpower that is within us and because of the separation he is not happy, he is burning.

So I wish that we could sit together, we could think something from the lifes of different masters and same is our purpose, whereas we have simply to live with it. It is our lost heritage and we can get it back. It is never far away from us, it is very near, very close, innate in the soul of everything. Simply we have to bring it into our consideration, fast consideration, not delay it. These are the matters, which cannot be delayed.
